I’m sure you’ve heard of the popular essential oil companies out there. YoungLiving and DoTerra both of which are MLM companies (learn about MLM here).
You may love essential oils and want to use them all the time, but the cost holds you back from using them as often. So you use them less to make them last.
But doesn’t that defeat the point? We get it so we can use them and reap the benefits of these wonderful oils. I’m with you on this. So I started to use other name brands, even the ones in the grocery stores. I know, the horror! Don’t judge. The price is way better than these other brands which make it easy to try these brands.
I’ve tried a few store brands and use them more than the other MLM brands. Brands like Now, Edens Garden, URbeauty, Rocky Mountain, and many others.
A Funny Thing Happened
After trying Lavender in these different brands there is one thing I noticed. Not all the brands smelled the same. It would seem like Lavender would be the same scent across all brands. You would think, right? This started my hunt for the best essential oil brands without MLM prices.
Well, you’re not alone in thinking this. I thought the same thing. It depends on where the plant, herbs are grown, and the soil is a major role in this too.
Different brands source oils in different countries. And depending on the country it’ll impact the scent of the oil. That said the aroma may vary from batch to batch but it shouldn’t be that different.
That means Lavender from France or Bulgaria has a varying scent from that sourced from say the Himalayan Mountains.

I’ve recently come across Revive Essential Oils. I’ve tried lavender, frankincense, citrus break oils. So far I love them. The potency is there and the scents are amazing.
